Duties and Responsibilities

• Build on relationships with visits to Existing Customers.
• Identifying new Prospects to gain New Business in Ocean Shipments
• Primary focus on Ocean Freight
• Identifying New Lanes with Existing Customers
• Lead Generation – Taking note of companies in Business Parks & attending Expo’s
• Industries to target, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Retail
• Follow up on Quotes to acquire Sales / Feedback
• Calculate Rates and Prepare Proposals for Presentations
• Work as part of a Sales Team and prepare Quotes and Book up Shipments for all Customers
• Prepare Reports weekly/monthly for Sales Manager.
• Maintain a High level of Customer Service and respond to Quotations in a timely manner.
• Time Management – plan day/week/month with Efficiency

Skills and Experience

• At least 3 Years of industry sales experience
• Strategic leadership ability
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Effective planning, organizational and monitoring skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as working effectively with a team.
